When my parents decided to add a bathroom to their basement, they faced the classic homeowner's dilemma: how to create a beautiful, functional space without breaking the bank. Custom bathroom vanities with farmhouse sinks can easily cost $1,400 or more, so this is where a little creative thinking and an IKEA hack saved the day! In this post, I'll walk you through how we transformed two IKEA kitchen cabinets into a stunning custom bathroom vanity with a farmhouse sink as part of a complete cottage-inspired bathroom DIY remodel. This project came in at under C$700 (approximately half the cost of a comparable pre-made vanity) while creating a truly custom look.

Snack organization level: expert! This fun snack container * has changed the way we road trip and eliminated the daily "Mom, we're out of snacks!" crisis. The divided compartments let me pack different snacks in one container (perfect for snack time or traveling), and the air-tight seal keeps everything fresh way longer than those half-closed bags with chip clips. I especially love using them for portion control: pre-portioning snacks has saved me from countless mindless munching sessions while working from home. The interior containers are dishwasher safe too! Click here to bring some sanity to your snack situation * (so perfect for Spring time travel)!
