As we enter that magical week before Christmas, the one where the house smells like baking, the kids are getting excited, and every cozy corner feels extra lived-in, I always find myself craving the tiniest reset. Nothing big or ambitious… just a few comforting touches that make home feel calm again before the real festivities begin.

This is the moment I go around the house with a cup of something warm, fluff up the sofa pillows that have been flattened by December movie nights, fold a fresh throw across the arm of a chair, and gather all my wrapping supplies into one spot so gift wrapping doesn’t feel as overwhelming.
