Is it just me, or does this time of year make you want to slow down, grab a cozy blanket, and spend a little more time at home?
I love this part of fall. The days are getting shorter, the evenings are cooler, and it's the perfect excuse to make our homes feel a little warmer and more inviting.
And the good news? You don't need to spend a lot of money to make your home feel cozy!
Here are a few little things I love doing this time of year:
π Bring out the cozy blankets. Drape a soft throw over the sofa or add an extra blanket to the end of your bed.
π―οΈ Add some warm lighting. A table lamp, a few candles, or some battery-operated fairy lights can completely change the mood of a room.
π Bring a little nature indoors. A vase filled with fall branches, pinecones, or dried flowers makes such a pretty seasonal touch.
π‘ Shop your own home. Sometimes just moving a few things around or switching out pillow covers is all it takes to make a space feel fresh again.

One of my favourite ways to make a room feel cozy is with soft, warm lighting. These flameless LED taper candles are such a pretty way to add that cozy glow to a coffee table, mantel, or bookshelf without worrying about an open flame.
I especially love the idea of adding these candles to wall sconces to flank a TV or artwork for a cozy glow in the evening!
