A few days ago, I caught myself doing that thing I always tell other people not to do: scrolling through home decor sites, convincing myself I needed “just one new piece” to make our bedroom feel even more finished.
But as I looked around, I realized the problem wasn’t that I needed something new. It was that I’d stopped seeing what I already had.
So I started fresh, not by shopping, but by re-styling. I pulled a vase from the living room onto my nightstand, swapped an accent pillow from my studio, and layered an old quilt on the end of the bed. Suddenly, everything looked intentional again... warm, balanced, and cozy.
That’s when I remembered: creating a designer-looking home isn’t about constantly adding. It’s often about learning how to layer, mix, and rearrange the things you already love.
If you’ve been craving that “something’s missing” refresh lately, I shared my go-to method here:
👉 How to Style Your Home with What You Already Have: 5 Foolproof Formulas
It walks you through my exact styling formulas for shelves, tables, sofas, and more, all using what’s already in your home.
Here’s to fresh eyes, creative energy, and the magic of moving a couple things around!
