I set out to build a cozy backyard hangout spot. I wanted it to be the kind of place where my teenager's friends actually want to come over. Not a magazine-perfect showpiece. A real, lived-in space for s'mores, late-night talks, and everyone feeling welcome.
Spoiler: it doesn't look like the Pinterest/AI inspo photos. And honestly? That's exactly why it works!!
